I was only at the track Friday and Saturday. Sunday I was planning to do the autocross, but slept in from being so tired. Plus, the several glasses of Texas wine at the awards banquet didn't help. Did you autocross Sunday at mineral wells? |

Somehow I must have COMPLETELY missed that sign...DOH! on my part. Well I guess next time we should have some sort of identifier...perhaps if not T shirts...a red pin or something worn in an easily seen place so we can all say hello. By some weird factor lately, Rob and I have been at the same place at the same time and been unaware of each other's presence. I obviously have been anyway. Sorry to have missed you guys. |

It would of been hard to miss me, I had the big magnetic yellow sign with black letters that said "FerrariChat.com". You never saw me Scott? |

or maybe pins or something? I used to belong to another online group (not car related) which had pins. -Ben |

We should have FerrariChat.com t-shirts made so that when we're at events, we'll know who to look for. David |

Hey William, I was there 20 years ago in my teenage years. Is the roller coaster Shockwave still there? |

I got to meet the famous William. He's as much a character in person as on this board. This really is a fun weekend running the car and meeting people. |

First time on the track with the Ferrari and the first time at MotorSports Ranch C.C.. I was in the middle run group, the top run group had the famous F50 GT1, a 333, and several challenge cars. I was with a 360, Daytona, several 308/328's, 348, and 288 GTO. I ran really well by the end of the day, my best lap on the first session was 1:55, then 1:43 in second session, and then a 1:38 in the third. We'll see how I do tomorrow. I'll get times of the big boys tomorrow so we can compare. The 360 was running the fastest in our group and then the 348 and one of the 308's was running about 2-3 seconds a lap faster than me. The Daytona was about 2-3 seconds slower and the 288 GTO would fly down the straights, but wasn't as fast in the turns. I passed the Daytona, but by the time I would catch the GTO it would be the straight again. Most of the big cars were out there today, the 250 GTO, several 275's, and even some 166's were turning laps. I think we get to see the F1 2000 run tomorrow. More tomorrow. |
