Ken,
A bunch of the local guys are planning a "drive around" at the end of April. At the rate we're going, we should have quite a few cars. If you're interested, send me an email. We'll start out in the city near me and work our way out west to the Aurora area and do a little touring, picking people up as we go. Scheduled for saturday April 27. Hope you're interested.

Jack, I work at 123 N. Wacker. I'm actually mostly cash lumber but I have the series 3 and do trade futures to hedge forward programs. "Wood is good!"

I think what we're trying to say, is, that we want the type of female shape you date, not the kind you've been married to for 15 years. Cool idea, though.

Ken, where in Chicago? I noticed you're in lumber. I trade Euros.

Jason I wish you luck. I love your graphics and you obviously have talent. I wish your 500M concept didn't look so Aston-Martinish though

Thats not a bad idea. I will start on it soon. Oh and for those of you that have been following my designs that I have posted on her, good news. I think I am all set up to finally go to Auto Design school. It will be scary leaving my secure job to do this but I have to, it is my life's path.

Jason....your graphic abilities are fantastic. How about doing a modern day 246 Dino.

I like your pic.

But I'd like to see them make a 525M. If it's gonna be heavy, it's should at least hang with the lightweights (F355/360 etc.).

Yeah it looks like I need to go back to the drawing board. Thanks for the comments.

Your 500M look a little like a Motor Trend rendition of a 456 replacement. Also, Automobile Magazine had a drawing of a red "460 GT" on the cover which looked very similar to what you've done. Can't remember when those issues came out though.

I agree on the curves. I think the best sports car shape should be a harmony of curves and edges. The 308 body acheives this. The important design point on that is an appearent narrowing ahead of the windshield to give that wasp like shape. On a 2+2 this is harder to do, but that's the challenge! So I say: more edges to go with the curves and more of a female body shape!

Rob,

"Dang it, give me a Ferrari with no head room, a roaring 12, and curves that make me want to date it."

I think you've described what every Ferrari should be! Sounds like the F50 may fit your bill?

Wow, I'm just impressed with your graphics!

About the car, I don't want to see Ferrari go towards the Porsche/Audi bubble syndrome. Even though it may be more aero dynamic and give more headroom.

Dang it, give me a Ferrari with no head room, a roaring 12, and curves that make me want to date it.

I call this concept the 500M. It replaces the 456GT and 456M models. This 2+2 coupe can hold it's own with anything on the street with the horsepower bumped up to 510hp because of the increase in engine displacement over the previous model. What do you guys think of it?
