I use Mothers Back to Black on the mirrors and top. I have also used it in solution to clean the dust out of my deck-lid louvers and the annodized slats under my back bumper - great stuff. However, it really does not do that great on the window trim. They just get too much sun. Believe it or not, I use Breakfree (CLP) gun cleaning oil. My window trim an wiper arms look 100& brand new. Sold in any gun store. Trust me. I used it on the black risers & window trim on my wife's Explorer too. Fantastic! On the Benz, I used it to detail under the hood. The only catch is that Breakfree collects a little dust if you leave too much on. But, this never matters on the window trim & wiper arms. Oh yeah, it also does OK on guns too.

Yes, the "Black Chrome" stuff works wonders. Years ago, I used it on my rubber bumpers on my TR8 that had begun to crack and it brought them back to life. I use it on everything thats black including trim paint.

I have used "black-chrome" works well...I suspect that it is the same as the Mothers stuff.

The exterior black trim around the windows on my 328 has lost its gloss and I am trying to restore it. Regular polish does not work. I expect that the same stuff would work on the grill over the engine. Any suggestions on a product?
