I just had my Boxer dash and pillars done in black ultra-suede, and it is awsome. The shop I used was CoachTrim, LLC. in Stamford, CT. The cost was fifteen hundred plus shipping. The suede will not shrink or pull, and is beautiful. The removal of the dash is very simple, just tedious.

I had my boxer dash, pillars and air vent done in the spring for about $800.00. They used a high quality leather but if I was doing it again I would contact re-original in texas and get the correct leather.

I have a small amount of dash pull/shrink on the section close to the windshield. The car is a 1979 Boxer and it has the original leather. Seats are great, probably recovered prior to my purchase. I'm thinking of recovering it this winter.

Does anyone have an idea what it would cost to recover the dash and center console (so it matches even if it doesn't need it). David Feinberg was kind enough to provide me some good instructions on dash removal and it doesn't look that difficult. I would be looking to pull the dash and center console and send the parts to the local/regional trim shop to have it covered correctly. Anybody have any recent experience with doing this, even if its not a Boxer (should be about the same for similar car) and know of a good shop in the Southeast?
