Leonardo, would your wheels fit a 308GTB. If yes, what would I be looking at price wise? Please email me if you do not wish to post your reply. My 308GTB has ugly cheap looking after market wheels and I don't have the original 14" alloys. |

Leonardo - thanks for the offer, but I understand that the later wheel is the only one that will properly fit my car. It is not an ABS thing, but changes to the suspension - uprights, shocks, etc. which necessitated the convex wheel. Lots of folks believe it is the ABS brakes that forced the re-design of the wheel - I am told this is not the case. Anyone else have an opinion? |

Stephen -- you might want to measure/know your present wheel offsets so that you can more easily evaluate the options that come up independent of the sellers assertions (another Chatter had a problem in this area recently). If you're lucky, the offset values may be shown in raised cast letters on the inside of a stock wheel spoke -- if not, just use a ruler and do the subtraction to get in the right ballpark. I think youre in the same family as 348, Mondial, etc. (with a fairly large "+" offset values, 108mm bolt circle, 67 mm hub), but if you only want the same width (7 front, 8 rear) this may restrict you further. Good luck with the search, and if you do ever measure/know the 328 ABS wheel offsets please post them sometime. |

Stephen, I just purchased an 86 328 GTB that came with three pieces rims as well as the original wheels. I want to put the original rims back on the car with new Goodyears, so Im selling the three piece rims and the Comp T/A tires (with 4,500k miles) that are on them. Check the 86 328 GTB posting under the Showroom section of this site to see the rims. I know you prefer a one piece, but these are in great shape and have a GTO style five spoke design. |

My 88 and 1/2 328 has the later convex wheels and I am interested in preserving them and the original Goodyears at 6k miles. All leads to a nice aftermarket wheel would be appreciated. I want something with the original off-set only. I hate the look of the wheels sticking out beyond the factory dimension. I would prefer a one-piece wheel, something in a 5 spoke design. 16 or 17" are OK. Thanks! |
