Hi Andre; yes I saw some of the race. love to see that #33 360 run. I talked with those guys when they were here in Phoenix, really nice group of guys. my buddy used to race with Court Wagner one of the drivers of the #33 car. as far as entering a race with those guys, WAY over my head let alone the fact that you have the other cars screaming by you twice as fast. watching the race, they just come out of nowhere and practically pass at any point on the track and any point in a corner. its amazing the difference a real race car makes. |

Great pics Tim! Looks like a lot of fun! Did you catch the Grand-Am race at Mt. Tremblant last weekend? They had to invite some Grand-Am Cup cars to fill out the field due to the lack of entries. I only mention this because I remember the thread a while back about your 360 Challenge car, and how you could boost its value by entering it in a good race or two. That would have been as good an opportunity as any. BTW, the Ferrari of Washington 360 GT won the GT category for the fifth race in a row, and second overall in the race. Another 360 GT from Falcon Racing finished 3rd in GT, 5th overall. A Porsche 911 GT3 cup finished first in Grand Sport I invitational, 8th overall and an Audi S4 finished 13th overall and first in GS II. |

dont know when exactly the forza issue is coming out. some time in Oct. benz had just completed 3rd lap, F40's were coming by for the 8th time. actually, I hate to burst everyones bubble but everyone of those pictures was posed. ALL the cars were at a dead stop. dust was from another car in the infield (rental) to create the dust for the picture. one of my mechanics I brought with works for Fiat and he has been on hundreds of photo shoots for mags and he is used to posing cars for great shots. even to the extent of using small bottle jacks to get the car to look like it has a slight roll, etc. if they fooled you guys I guess they can fool just about anyone. glad you enjoyed them. |

They were preparing to lap him yet AGAIN? *wink* (I don't really know I wasn't there) Maybe there was someone in the Benz trying to get shots of the F40s screaming by? -Ben
