Congrats Bob. I think that most of us feel the same way... going out to the garage just to look once in a while and think how lucky we are to have a Ferrari.

Rijk
My 308 is still at the mistress stage to me, drive it all the time and it wouldn't be special anymore. Damn I love that car

Bob, you need to drive more often. Even for 7 months this is only 225 miles per month. I drive 7000 miles per year in my Daytona and the more I drive the better the car gets. My goal for next year is 8000 miles

I do all my own work, to me that is half the fun of ownership.

You had all that work done for $1258 or did you do it yourself ?

Congratulations Bob. I hit my 1 year last month. But my cost of ownership has been significantly higher! The good news is, the 30k is done, it has a new water pump, new AC compressor, re-cored radiator, etc., etc.

Congratulations Bob,

The 308 is certaintly one of the best designs ever from Pininfarina. You might not keep up with the latest stuff of course but hey you are driving a living legend!
Hope you enjoy your car for years to come. At the moment I feel like never selling my first Ferrari for the rest of my life!
Hope you have got nice weather today to celebrate your first year ownership (or should I rather say relationship)with a nice drive on an open road.

Con saluti cordialissimi,
Jens Haller

Sept. 14th marks the first year of ownership. I have driven about 1600 mi. in that time, being in the Chicago area it was parked for 5 of the 12 months. Repairs and maintenance totaled $1258, in that amount are new oil cooler duct, new coils ( Blaster II ), plug wires and extenders, syn. trans oil, 3 oil changes, 2 sets of plugs, flush and fill cooling system and rebuild the carbs and the alternator. All totaled including the above amount plus gas and insurance, cost of ownership was under $2000. And you know, I still walk out to the garage just to look at my 308.
