PARTS! PARTS ! Hey I bet the salvage yard got $$$$$ for those 16" wheels;

What yard did this go to... let us vultures know so that we can pick it over for parts and keep ours on teh road...also...what is the vin # so that when a uncrupulous wrecker rebuilds it and tries to sell it as new (yes he can be sneaky and get a fresh title) we will all know it was a total wreck! 41K! what insurance co did he have ?? ( see related thread!) nice deal -- what do I have to hit with my QV

Actually, it went to insurance. Craig ended up getting $41,000 for the car. It is a shame.

I bet there arent as many as one would think still around. A lot of Ferraris get crashed (for the number that are made). The US market probably wasnt as large back then as it is now, so I would say there are only a couple hundred from each year here.

Maybe less. I do know that only 1253 of those were 84s. I always wonder how many QVs are left.

The "Model List" link at left indicates that there were around 3,000 308QV's made between '83 & '85. Question - what's your best guess as to how many actually remain?

I'd guess around 2000. What do you think?
