I got the Forza issue, it was helpful. I am still in the preliminary search and working on the wife that I should get another car. Otherwise I might need to sell a car first. Thanks for all the input. |

I've owned my t Coupe for almost 3 years now. Put 22K miles on it so far. No regrets. Never let me down. Showed it 3 times and earned a "Platinum" award each time. I have 2 small children so the car has been practical for the family joy rides. It works well for the multiday road trips as well. Back seats fold down to strap the luggage in place. JMG has good advise. With the age of the cars look for up-todate service records or budget to bring it up-todate. Mark, great choice! How is the car search going? |

Modinals are fun little cars. They looks very cute and are like a mini TR almost. I like them alot. |

As noted coupes will be very hard to find - only made in 1989 in the T variety. I did see one for sale recently though. A person on this board in Cal has one currently |

I am looking for a coupe as my wife is concerned about the safety of a convertible with children. I am also only planning on driving the car once a week (It would be my fifth car). I am going to the bookstore today to see if the issue of Forza if there. November issue??? Is the November issue already for sale in September/ Thanks for the input. |

My T Cab is a daily driver, very reliable. Space was tight with most full booster seats (my kids are 3 & 5) so I have half boosters (bottom) and installed Sparco racing harnesses in the rear to lock them in place. Are you looking for a coupe or a cab? As for what to look for, standard stuff like service records and an inspection. Electronics can be an issue so make sure everything works when you take it out. You might even consider using a checklist when you are looking. Cabs tend to leak so you will want to look at the front bottom of the door jab to see what kind of corrosion might be there. Most folks have also ripped their gaskets on the roof brace, easy to fix bnut a couple of hundred a side. Parts are fairly easy to get but can be pricey. |

Greg, that was 40 Mondial T coupes. The article doesn't cover the cabs. |

The November issue of Forza has a Mondial Buyers Guide. Goto one of the bookstores near you and pick up this issue. I did read something interesting in that Forza said that only 40 Mondial T's were brought into the US? Probably the biggest difference between the Mondial verisons is that the "T" model requires an engine-out major service because the engine and rear subframe are patterned after the 348. With the other Mondials, you can do a major service with the engine-in. Hope this helps. |

I am thinking of purchasing a Mondial T. I need a back seat for my daughter. Any insight as to the reliability, what to look for when buying one or any other info would be appreciated. |
