Rick - do a search on Long Island... there was a thread on this subject not too long ago. I used Ferrari of LI, but they don't seem to respect the people that own the cars from the '80s - they only want to deal with the classics or the new stuff (deep pockets). They did good work and weren't too expensive, but they lied to me saying that the mechanic that did my 30K service had 20 yrs ferrari experience. Only later I found out that mine was the 1st 30K he ever did and he had 20 years porsche experience, no ferrari experience. I now use Mike Franco at European motorcars in huntington. I've heard good things about him his number is (631) 271-9615. I've also used Doug Perone, I heard he is really good, but very expensive. Let me know who you decide on. |
