The distributorless ignition is Mandatory IMHO on any 308. |

My '82 GTSi does ok, has K&N, Cat test pipes and Krank Vent - Ed does the direct fire really add that much? if so it's my next big purchase... |

Paul, my car is for sale and will probably go to a new home this weekend. I wish everyone could drive it before it leaves as you would change your opinion of how an 82 308 can run with an ignition upgrade, clear exhaust and a stock air filter. |

Ed, I thought you were selling? the 80-82 are the cleanest looking 308s in my opinion (love the interiors) but unless you do a ric turbo charge on them...I haven't seen one that could get out of its own way. |

Of course, real men don't even need a Ferrari or any car for that matter. They simply capture a wild horse with their bare hands and ride bare back across the plains. Every once in a while, just for fun, I wrestle an alligator in a quicksand pit just to prove I'm a tough guy. I might even play jump rope using a live rattlesnake. Who needs sissy horseless carriages anyway? |

after leaving negative feedback on this weenie he got back to me demanding I post positive feedback within 24 hours or he would leave negative on me. told him...how could I leave positive feedback when he sells an amateur product, charges 3.95 shipping and sends with .37 stamp, and will only give a credit to his massage video website. I know it is only $25 bucks but what a jack-ass. he claims he used the straps on his 82 gtsi...so a ball-less car for a ball-less person (no offense to those who own the "i" cars) |

Oliver, did you think the picture looked incredibly like an OE strap? I did. Todd, I'll bring them on Sun...you'll get a kick out of them... E-bay should do something about cleaning up their act...it is unfortunate, once one of these guys screws you every seller looks sceptical...I am considering pulling all of my f-car & p-car stuff off and setting up a website (which I have no idea how to do) bdw, did anyone see the "original" 288 GTO rear clip (never been on a car) last week...picture was of a used and dirty 308 rear clip...crooks! |

I too saw them and I thought for a moment a couple of times that I should buy them. Something told me it didn't sound right. Sometimes I'll check availability from Ferrari before I buy to see how the item is priced. Thanks for the warning. Sorry he got in your shorts . |

Well, it could be worse. You could have paid for a crappy piece of leather from Ferrari and paid $200.00 for it. Count your blessings, some people are wondering where their next meal will come from. |

the guy got back to me today...claims they are the same as the ones he used on his own 308...he will take them back but will only give a credit to his website/store...the guy has nothing that I want or need...so he gets my $25 anyway... |

If the pictures that were posted were not the straps that you received then the man has committed fraud. This is technically a federal crime, despite only being $25. It is also something which you could file a civil lawsuit. There are several people who can get you pointed in the right direction. The fact that the purchase price was only $25 may make you choose between making a point or doing what makes sense. Your best option may be to leave negative feedback to protect others from this idiot. Considering its only $25 that is probably your best option. |

pictures were posted...but I suspect that it was of an original strap...I looked at the feedback...but there was none on the straps (not yet) guy was selling all sorts of crap (computer games, massage videos) I should have known better...yes, a $25 lesson learned...not much but, was hoping for some decent straps. |

Were there no photos on the auction? Never buy on eBay without photos and high seller feedback. If you are worried, you can use a service like www.escrow.com at minimal cost to protect yourself. Ernesto |

many will say for 25 bucks consider it a lesson learned but I think that is exactly what the seller hopes for |

purchased some of the leather straps for my gts top off e-bay from some mysterious guy who doesn't like to post his name. out and out junk...this guy had balls...paid 24.95 (had a buy it now for something like $45) Anyway, a 5 year old at summer camp leather crafting could have made better leather straps. leather looked like it came from an old wallet...straps were 2 differents sizes (due to hand cutting) there was probably .50 cents in materials. I bought these with paypal...if this guy refuses a refund how would you guys recommend getting my cash back. |
