fyi, montezemolo signed up again for another stint. rumor is that he has signed on as long as ross brawn, jean todt and michael schumacher will stay and they have said now that they might stay on past 2004. i would again say that shares of ferrari will eventually find their way into the pockets of montezemolo, schumacher and of course ecclestone. so i think there will be an f60 since they will all want to show how good they are in 5 years.... |

"If GM bought Ferrari what would happen to the Corvette ? Would it become a Ferrari Jr ? like a US Maserati ?" It pretty much is, except the fact that it's just as fast as all of the current GT models. The quality though isn't Ferrari. |

Gawd, you better hope GM doesnt get hold of them. Theyll be whittled down to a "one size fits all" model with a 50 year old 350 V8. |

I've been a Ferrari Fanatic all my life, and I couldn't even begin to explain how I would feel if Ferrari was sold to another car company. I really think I would throw up. For me, all the mystique and passion that surrounds Ferrari (the car and the company) would be erased with such a move. Ferrari is The Last Hope. Although it is owned by the fifth largest auto manufacturer in the world, Fiat has always allowed it to blossom without interference. Ferrari is the last jewel in a world full of monotony, blandness, and comittee lead corporate decisions. Please Ferrari, don't sell your red soul. |

Audi has done a great job with Lambo even tho the Murc still needs a Big Azz wing. Ford has done well with Aston but they r really screwing Shaguar right now, they axed the F type which really blows. Gonna build more sedans & station wagons instead, Bill Ford sux. If GM bought Ferrari what would happen to the Corvette ? Would it become a Ferrari Jr ? like a US Maserati ? |

I think they should go set a new standard with the next supercar. Not just top speed and handling. Something else... |

Its a scary thought that some Idiot Suit in Turin pulled a stunt like that without even notifying Montezemolo. He was ready to leave but the word is Schumacher persuaded him to stay. The word in Europe is that Bernard Eccelstone may buy the company or just the F1 Team. Sad part would be if Fiat actually sold it to GM. By the way all those people out there that think Audi hasn't done a great job with Lamborghini just drive a Diablo 6.0 or Murcielago. It is a much better car. The quality that Audi has brought on Lamborghini is far better than what was in the past. THE F60=ENZO! |

That bites. It will be a sad day when Ferrari is second to Lamborghini... F60? How about a twin turbo charged machine (ala F40)? Or how about something like a 3 seater (liek the McLaren F1)... |

the current President, Montezmolo or whatever said he will be stepping down soon cus he wants to go out on top. As we all know he thought that 40% of Ferrari shares were to be sold on the stock market but some anonymous azzhole in Turin decided to sell that 40% to a bunch of Italian bankers. Montezmolo only heard about it After the deal was done & Man was he Pissed!!! Thats probably not a very good sign for Ferrari's future. I cant see a bunch of bankers getting excited about building the F60, no imagination, no passion. Looks like Audi-Lamborghini is ready to step in after Montezmolo steps down as the supreme exotic car builder |

I don't know about the F60, but I just have to wonder how Ferrari is going to handle the switch from gas engines to hydrogen/hybrid within 30 years. |

Since the 60th anniversary is in 2007 , Ferrari has time to build an F60 no? Do you think they are already working on an F60 ? Or do you think that there wont be an F60 ,that the Enzo is it ? If there will be an F60, how can it be better than the Enzo ? |
