I missed about 10 minutes, obviously the 10 minutes the 550B was in. I'll watch next week to see the 355. Why can't we all be like the guys on TV and have women fall in love and give up their evil ways after just one night in the sack?

It wasn't that terrible! Plenty of hot women and great cars. I give it 2 seasons. After all, just look at how long BAYWATCH lasted. Another fine quality program.

Miami Vice wanna be....
lacking the Michael Mann artistic filming of cars
and T & A...

I'll still watch it though for the cars.
I'll just leave my brain out before i tune in.
The show will do for now, its the closest contemporary replacement for Miami Vice or Magnum. Without the cars, the show is dead.
Next week... F355... lets see how they drive this one

It was a lame blend of 3 episodes of Miami Vice. Even down to Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight." Lotta T and A.

I give it 3 weeks.

Lame.

Only thing good about it was the eye candy, cars & girls.

This show will die out in less than a year. Remember back in 80's? There was a Miami Vice clone show called Houston Nights. That didn't survive one season. LOL

Recorded it and watched it later in the evening...would have to agree with most everyone else...couldn't take but about 15 minutes of this episode before shutting it off and going to bed! Don't think I'll be tuning in to this one in the future...think I'll stick to Magnum re-runs .

I thought Driven was bad! There are not enough hot cars and babes in the world to make me watch that piece of crap show again.

i watched the first 20 minutes or so and then the last 10.

i think they didn't miss a single cliche :-)

it'll do well for as long as they can push the softcore porn collages and for as long as they can keep the "toys" fresh, which won't be more than a few episodes.

i can't get past bill bellamy, inept host of MTV show doing a bad imitation of an inept actor :-). and the other guy is going to be on the couch for years solving his "tom cruise problem".

the cars were cool. so it wasn't a complete waste.

doody.

I liked it.
so it is not Discovery Channel or Speed Channel but yet it has cool cars and that garage was to die for! A red leather couch! how cool is that?

The guy looked like Tom Cruise in his early years.

The show was made like a video clip. Very intense to watch for 1 full hour.

Compare this to Magnum PI and you will haver to admit that Magnum is not a great show either.

Well I watched it all (hey, I'm jetlagged, I don't need 'Mastermind' right now). It's obviously Miami Vice all over again with the same lowest common denominators: sex, fast cars, fantasy lifestyle. Yup, it could do quite well, and give the director a break guys- how else is he going to test drive all these great cars?

It started out pretty bad, and went downhill from there.

Just sat through 20 minutes of it. Can't take any more. It's really that cheesy. Dialogue is downright painful. If you want to see cool cars, go to a car show.

Some nice cars in the show. Not very original plots as far as a show goes. Nice driving shot of a red 550 Barchetta and a Maserati Spider was featured. Preview for next week had a 355.

Well, I caught the last 15 minutes, Jennie didn't test the vcr recording and we recorded the Static channel, so didn't catch the first 45. In the last 15 minutes I saw a couple cool cars, some really hot babes, a few cheezy stunts, and heard a song from Miami Vice.

Any Ferraris?

I Have a friend who is working on the GT40 right now. (Engine stuff). The GT40's that you see at shows right now, look like GT40's, but those are not the cars you will be purchasing. He will get a special deal if he wants to buy one. Anybody out there want to buy a contract on one?

Thank you. I just happen to be in the US at the moment and saw your post. Just seen that dude lose control of the GT40 when the blonde puts her hand down his jeans. Fantastic quote when he comes to a halt: 'wow, this thing's got some serious oversteer'. Priceless.

Even if it is totally Miami Vice on the left coast (hey MV was actually not that bad in it's day!), it's previewed to have Ferraris and other nice cars in it. I'd say support the show just because they chose to feature our stallion(s).
