True Herbert, my Colt has something like 65hp... I've learnt how to use momentum to keep up (I haven't changed my brakes in about five years, I don't use them). |

Ive got a 92 Mitsu 3000GTVR4, bought it as my winter & rain beater & for going skiing, its a cool car, now even better with 400 hp. It will waste my 308QV in a 0-60, 1/4 mile or top end but cant hold a candle to the 308 in braking or handling, also the Ferrari interior is of course, quite a bit better quality wise. The VR4 is cool, its just not the real McCoy |

I repair Mitsubishi cars every day and they are without a doubt the most under powered cars in the world for their engine size. The 3 liter engine in the 3000gt is one of the most enormous and beautiful looking engines I have ever seen sitting in an engine bay, but it won't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass. Every Mitsubishi should be recalled and a turbo installed just to make it safe to drive in traffic. |

O.k guys. When I was looking to buy my 308 one of the things I heard more then a few times was. Be prepared to get blown away by mitsubishis ( If that is how you spell it) Anyway my buddy has a 97 turbo eclipse. All of our buddys talk about how fast Bobs car is. They like my 308 but when they talk about speed they talk about how fast the eclipse is. Today he got the psi cranked up on the turbo and now he askes me if I want to run with him. I am thinking man I am going to get killed but o.k. I tell him that I want to start from a rolling start so as not to abuse my clutch. We head out to a clear road. We are going about 20 or 30 mph and punch it. I wait for him to swallow me up but he isn't catching me. I hit third and my car starts to pull hard and now I start to lose him. I hit fourth and now I know he isn't catching me. It was sweet! We do a few more runs all with the same result. I know it isn't like I beat a 911 turbo or anything. But all my friends and myself included thought I was going to get killed. Man I love this car! |
