I'd just use the magnetics, BUT I see nothing wrong with leaving them on all the time :D)

The looks I get driving to/from the track are always intresting.

Best!
Ben.

Is yours a national number? I'm not familiar with FCA events, but I know SCCA has a system in place for nationally-registered numbers, as well as a hierarchy for when 2 cars have the same #. Basically, don't do it unless you know you'll never be asked to change it.

I dont drive her on the street much anymore, she's just WAY too fast & the temptation to shatter all road laws is always right at the tip of my toes :-) So I usually drive around in my nice slow Chevy Tahoe or Dodge Neon. I need something slow to keep my liscence intact :-)
I have magnetics, maybe I'll just have some new magnetics made up

I can see it now:
Officer-Sir, do you know why I pulled you over?

WH-Huh? I know I wasn't speeding. (Yeah, right)

Officer-That's right, your car has track #'s on it, and that's considered a distraction for other drivers. That will be $98 please.

why not just use magnetics, vinyl numbers are a to get off and then you have to use special stuff from the hobby store to get the glue off.

I'm thinking of getting stickers made up & applying them to the doors with my FCA track # & leaving them on the 512TR permanently. Well until I repaint her next year some time. Thoughts?
