Len welcome back that Italian flu must be hard to get over. I'm glad you liked the pics. Spoke with Todd yesterday, and spent the day at Bruce's home Sunday, we should all plan to get together soon. Say hello to your better half.
I'll be up at the Pocono Raceway on Saturday, gave Linda a day of race training , should be fun.
regards, John

Everyone,

Really sorry I missed the show, but I came down with something right after returning from Italy on Tuesday. The pics are great. I will definitely be there next year.

John Arend, thanks for the pic CD from the BBQ. It came while we were away.

Thank YOU guys...I just wish you would have ate more! That was some line-up in front of my house...an impressive mix of red beauties. Hutch, thanks for your special contribution to Gieger's Gin Mill...although we didn't get a chance to see the Gin Mill down stairs...of which gives me another idea...A Ferrari black jack shindig down in Gieger's Gin Mill...sure to net some good stories, huh?

It really was a super day...got to see a few cars I have never seen in person(ie The smoking 288 GTO) as well as a boat load of new knowledge...my head was about to explode!

Thanks again everyone...it was really great to finally meet all the faces behind FChat.

My wife Potoula says hello and hopes to have everyone over again...even that guy Bruce, believe it or not.

Todd, Tom, Adam, Hutch, Frank and Ken,

It was a pleasure meeting up with you all before the event. Thank you again, Todd and family, for the wonderful breakfast. It made the concours that much more enjoyable.

I'll post some pictures later this afternoon.

Barry

I do not remember his name, but there were 2 red/tan 512M's at the show. I never met either owner, so I cannot comment if they needed a personality adjustment.

There was a yellow/black 512TR at the show. Thought of you when I first saw it. I also noticed a 512M that is from my town. Small world.

Hutch

The 288 GTO sounded awesome at 80 mph. That car has such a presence on the road. If felt a little bad as one guy in a nissan got a little over excited and was right on the back bumper. He meant well but it was a little disconcerting.

There we some really nice cars at the event. Including the new 575 in yellow with F1, an F40, two 512Ms, a few nice 275s, one in a stunning dark green, and my favorite - a 288 GTO. After the event I had the good fortune to be going the same way as the 288 GTO, we drove about 30 miles up a major highway - all I can say is what a car. The best part is we came up on the 275 on the same road and ran three wide. I was little out of my league in the mondial but what an experience!!!

There was a great turn out today with over 100 Ferrari's. It was nice to see everyone again and to meet new friends. Who owns the black TR that passed me on 287 at around 120? I had a hard time catching up to you in my 308 QV. Who knew that one could hit 140 on that road.

Todd, Tom, Frank (thanks for waiting up for me)...also good meeting Manny, as well as Rocco and Frank from Classic Coach. Can't believe how many horror stories were told about Wide World of Cars. Thank God a place like Classic Coach exists in the tri-state area.
