Actually in Indiana ticket scalping is legal. Indianapolis is also the national headquaters for the American Legion.

I wish they had hotel rooms. There are laws against scalping tickets but not the price of a motel room. [PITY].

If you are a veteran and plan to go to the US Grand Prix, Indy 500 or Brickyard , I suggest that you join the Speedway Post# 500 of The American Legion. They are right across the street from the track and have the best parking at the track, and its free to AL members. They have a great little bar and grill that is very inexpensive for AL members. They have TVs everywhere with comfortable sitting areas to hang out while not at the track. Its a really great deal and you don't have to live there to be a member. You only have to be a military veteran check it out.
