Forgot to mention,, Koenig beefs up the tranny, not sure what exactly is done though. Going to a track event next weekend, at Lakeland. Give you full details then. Ran car up to 140 on alligator alley,,, too many cops (and helicoptors). Need wheels, going with Kinesis. Anybody have 18 early TR style wheels they want to sell? Taso |

I own a 1987 Koenig TR. Just drove it back from Shelton (where it was serviced...ouch). Drove it about 300 miles home, wow!!Runs real strong, smooth, Love it!!! I'll post more pics tomorrow. Email if you have any questions. Thanks, Taso P.S. Have original paperwork. 1st owner was "Octipussy" boat owner from the James Bond movie. |

Back in 1987 a dealer I worked for sold a TR that we shipped directly to Koenig. The car was dark blue with crema interior. Koenig made it into a "spyder", put quad turbos on it, and installed ostrich interior. The car was then shipped to the owner in the SE part of the US. First thing to break was the input shaft to the trans. Snapped cleanly in two. Bob Wallace in PHX has made beefier shafts, FYI. |

some1 here recently purchased 1, cant remember who it was. Ive heard that the power destroys the transmission & I believe it cus I've already snapped a main trans shaft in my 512TR with "only" 460hp. I think CD said the Koeing turbo had more than 600 hp, Goodbye trans |

Does anyone know anything about these cars? I am interested in buying a TR, and have been thinking long and hard about buying one with a Koenig turbo already installed (if I can find one) and save the money over having it done myself in a few years. Any information would be helpful. |
