Ferrari's don't compete with other cars, they compete with sex. |

of course they have competition. if they built a shitty product these days, they would not sell as well as they do. frankly there are so many great cars to chose from in the same range as the fcar line-up these days, that sometimes i even find myself thinking about straying from the fold.... porsche turbo or gt2, sl55, aston vanquish, murci, z8, etc; these cars are rare and powerful and appeal to everybody except perhaps die-hard tifosi. i think ferrari could raise their prices slightly and still be sold-out, but maybe only 15-20pct higher than today. if prices went any higher, people would think twice. |

More of a economical/business kind of question! If you can sell your product at virtually any price and find a buyer for it, wouldn't that mean you do not have any competition? Wouldn't it be correct to say that there are not many buyers of Ferraris that look also at a Lambo and a Saleen and decide on one car for whatever their personal reasons? (price, gas mileage, interior option, cupholders etc) |
