They didnt call me.The guy who bought the car after it was serviced there is a friend of mine.I am a mechanical Engineer. But you didnt have to be to understand that where this repair was made was bad news. And let's not forget about the other work they botched.

Bruno:

What business are you in that they called you: Body shop, artist, etc?? Just wondering why they needed to call someone in to do this, which it seems they could have done themselves.

Yes it was a Ferrari. The repair was made directly under where the suspension bolts onto the frame.Death on wheels.Like it would have killed them to weld it up.I welded it for the guy.It took me 2 hours from setup to clean up.Stay away from this place. I here a lot of people take their Porsches and Mercedes,VW,Audi etc there.Stay away.

Still, with a name like 'Foreign Aid auto repairs' they dont exactly sound a reputable credible establishment to take any car for repair let alone exotics.

If someone takes their 'Ferrari' to 'Johny cheapskate repairs limited' in search of el cheapo job I'm afraid I'd have no sympathy whatsoever to such bodged repairs.

That foam repair could be bad if the frame rot affected the strength of the frame and made it unsafe. I wouldn't want to be responsible.

Foreign Aid Auto Repairs located in Berlin,Nj. They are total hacks, theives etc. They foamed (yes a can of spray foam insulation) a rotted frame on a car I looked at and sculpted it and painted it black. They put red permatex on the exhaust headers and donut gaskets. They used the wrong oil filters. They ruined a guys car.RUN.Dont walk from these guys.
