On the auction block lately the unrestored cars having been fetching some of the best prices. A SWB unrestored went for like 1.2 mil. when expected just to go 800k.

On a recent bus & personal trip to N Cal I visited the Bering museum in SanRamon with my relatives

A early 60s GTO Ferrari there had multiple big chips and a small ding on the nose, I have heard the trend is to leave cars unrestored but it took away from this multi millon dollar ride and how would they know when these damages have occured ? I could understand if it was from a race during the actual period but I am sure this car has been repainted before a least once so it was probably one of those dreaded POs from the 70s or 80s that caused it, why not fix it as it should be?
