a 512TR can b had as low as $85k if u look around for a while, a lot less than a 355. I have no idea why that is but it worked in my favor when i bought my 512TR.
I still have my 308GTS QV which is similair to the 328. If u r going to use the car on the track I'd say go for the 512TR. If its just road driving then the Testarossa is fine.
The 512TR is considerably stiffer than the TR cus the rear subframe is welding into the 512TR, it unbolts for easy engine access on the earlier TR. This is the single most important difference between the 2 cars

At risk of sounding blasphemous, but can anyone explain to me how good the first model Testarossa is given that its replacements, the 512TR and 512M are so much better?

I am considering upgrading my 89 328GTS to an 89 TR but wonder if I should wait until I can afford either a 355 or a 512TR. Or should I spend my pennies on technology shares? ;)
