If you want to get one of these mega babies, check out the Koenig Specials website. They have conversions for the 550. They also do fantastic engine tuning. Sometimes their styling is over the hill but interesting. Koenig Sen and Jr are racing legends in Europe.

I just ordered me some wheel spacers for my 348. will have some before and after pictures to share with all of you soon.

Ferrari really should back these teams. They piss away close to $300 million a year on F1 ($286 million or something like that) and they can't throw a little towards these teams. What the hell. Just make it an even 300 million and give those teams the 15 million between them. Ferrari is by far the gayest out of the manufacturers. I love the cars, but Ferrari the company is all about screwing you over unless you're some sort of megabillion dollar company or team.

definately David! I'd love to see them compete. Schumy has made Ferrari's comeback for F1, but now... something a bit more tangible to the road racing / road bearing cars that they build.

Rob - sounds good. BTW, have you ever heard of the Italian Mag - "Pista" ? I have two issues of it from ages ago - both with glorious Senna pics, but haven't seen it since. Its racing/F1 and gorgeous photos as well.

The 500K came from another site, but I neglected to see the base price of 520K, and they say its around 1mil not half. here's the link:

It seems kind of ridiculus that Ferrari would not support these teams or any teams that might want to compete...such as the 24hrs of LeMans. Just dont understand it. I know they want to win in Formula1, but they should also be concerned about the road going cars as well. Would love to see them compete versus the Vipers, Porsche, Corvette's etc.....

Where did you get $500k, I know it probably cost them more than that to build it.

This is one of the teams competing in the FIA Sports car series. I believe there are currently 3 teams. The 550's compete in the fast class and the 360's compete in the other class. They are getting more and more competitive, but no factory support.

Cavallino talks about these teams every issue.

I'll get my current issue and pass along the team websites.
