I've not seen this two-tone scheme in person, but have spotted it at times on the Ferrari NA web site. They've shown a pic of this paint scheme in conjunction with their Carrozzeria Scaglietti program (Don't speak Italian, but I suspect this means "you wanna pay more, we can do it"). I think I saw a pic once while looking through the section about options for the 456, along with the painted calipers and contrasting stitching.

I'd really like to see more flavors of this two tone scheme to be able to judge it better. It could be really awesome with two colors that weren't so far apart. I don't think I like the higher contrast because it sort of breaks up the lines of the car, instead of accentuating them.

I love it. The blk/grey looks stunning on the 456 B.Don't think it would go on the 360 or 575M.Different strokes etc....

sorry don't like it.
and dan, the 456 too dated ? name another 4 seater that looks better? imho still the best 4 seater around. yes mb and bentley are coming up with some incredibly powerful 2 door/4 seaters, but they look like sheds. the 456 is all class; kinetic artwork on wheels.

I don't think this is the one, but the first bicolore they made was for Schumacher, for some record he broke or something last year. It was dark gray bottom though with a light gray top. I don't know that they are for sale to the general public.

I hope they do this on the 460 (?) as well. The 456 is just TOO dated for all practical purposes.

It looks a bit too retro to my eyes; I'm sure I've seen a classic Ferrari with this scheme quite recently.

Furthermore, apart from this particular colour combination which other ones would work? Light & dark blue; different shades of silver? I've not seen it in the metal yet either and may well change my mind if/when I do.

I've seen it on barchetta.cc. It's my favorite 456 now. I love those colors...

Other than seeing studio pics or shots from the auto show, have any of you ever seen the two-tone painted 456M on the streets or at a dealership? At the Paris Auto show this past week or so they had a black 456M with a titanium gray roof. The car looks fantastic in pictures. How much is this option to have two tone paint? I check all the dealer sites pretty regularly and never seen one in the states for sale.
