Todd,
sorry you came so late. You missed a great dinner. Sn Rafanelli and his sister were phantastic hosts. The whole team was just so super cool to be around and we all enjoyed their hospitality. Thanks Bart for making that contact and thanks to Ed Triolo, the team public relations manager for putting the final touch on.

Todd,
sorry we did not hook up on Saturday. You must have been close but not close enough. Damn cell phones did not work right either there. Hope you had a great time anyway and we will get together next time you are here in MIA.

I hope we can get the Olive Garden team back to Miami for a co-track event in Homestead in February in connection with the Fran-Am series testing. With a little luck they will need some track time to prepare for Sebring and we can return the favor to them.

I met Justin Bell yesterday. He came in 2nd in the Trans Am series. Had lots of stories to tell on how difficult it was to drive the Miami GP track.

William and Martin,
Thanks a million for hooking me up with the tech session with the Raffanielli Ferrari 550 Maranello team...very cool stuff...even cooler REAL people.
It was my first time ever at a race and I can now say I am a fan of the American Lemanns...Check out the picture a buddy of mine took with The Mario and me as well as the Olive Garden car prior to the race!

If you are running Windows XP, just right click on a photo and select "Resize Picture"

You need some image software like Adobe Photoshop or I use Adobe Image Ready mainly. There's several other packages out there, I forgot Microsoft's version.

Last friday night the FOC arranged a dinner with the Raffanielli Ferrari 550 Maranello team sponsored by Olive Garden restaurant. Sort of strange seeing a bright green Ferrari but its Italian Green like on the flag not BRG. The sister of the team owner made us a great dinner & we spent the evening with the team PR manager. After dinner we got to see the car up close. It has a 550 center section but the front end is a full on tube frame racer with carbon fiber body. The first engine came out of a wrecked 550 but after they proved themselves on the track Ferrari started helping, a little. We got to meet the drivers also.
I have lots of pics but I need help shrinking them. Somebody has to teach me how to shrink them
