95 is the way to go: Ernesto, if your 360 is a regular street 360, and it's full US spec/OBD-II, and the lights didn't come on.. something is wrong, or you're using O2 simulators on your post cat sensors. Catalyst monitoring is part of OBD-II. (and it sux ;) BTW, do you know of Servicio Euromecanico in Aguadilla?

Unless the inspector is blind, 'test pipes' look nothing like genuine convertors, unless they are one-off's specifically designed that way. Of note, if your 355 is a 96 or later, removing the cats will set the Check Engine lamp for catalyst monitoring. This is part of OBD-II Check Engine lamp = Instant fail of test. Jim |

i hear ya but the with test pipes in place i doubt a visual inspection will do harm...i'm not really worried about that...i have no cats on my 300 ZX Turbo and my M3 and they both pass emissions with no problem so if the same goes for the 355, i'm game. |

I beleive it is illegal to run a new car without cats, that said you would need to get caught. In Nj they have a visual and computer tests so it is hard. other places don't. Some hollow out the cats so to pass a visual. Others have been known to "tip" a private inspector station. Options are endless but get caught it will cost you |
