The sheer complexity of any exhaust required to fit a BB is unbelievable.......
Stunningly well prepared car Lee.

No, but I plan to some day..................

These shots were taken during a complete rebuild of every part. The chassis parts were all powdercoated. It has since been driven plenty!

Grant

I have Tubi on 27001 and it is the absolute ultimate. Nothing could ever match sound from this system.

Grant,

Thank you, but is it worth $3,500 versus what the Ansas cost??? ($800/pair about 10 years ago..)

Grant...
I just installed a Tubi system on my 365BB, replacing the Ansa system. Frankly, it is not appreciably louder than the Ansa system was at idle, and actually seems slightly quieter at WFO...realizing that a carbed BB is loud no matter how you slice it. It seems, now...that the intake roar is more pronounced. Louder than a 308? BB's are louder that 308s, even when they're not running.

Yes, the Ansa is cheaper and...
They weigh about twice what the Tubi does...
Rust almost immediately...
And don't fit as well..

I just got tired of replacing the Ansa every 5 years or so, just because it looked so ugly.

I am in the process of purchasing a new exhaust system for my 512BB. The choices are: tubi, ansa (maybe) or stainless steel stock type system with resonators. My question is: how loud is the tubi exhaust on the 512BB? The reason I ask is that I currently get a lot of complaints from my neighbors near and far about the tubi on my 308QV. Will the 512BB be even louder than the 308QV?

The reason the ANSA is on the list is that it is way cheaper than the other two options.

Thanks in advance for your help.
