When I was in Italy for the F1 race a few weeks ago, we were heading back to lake Como from the Ferrari Factory when we stopped for gas on the autostrada when in pulls a 550 with # plates and stickers. I talked to guy who said they were running the equivalant of the US cannonball and that the cops had just nabbed 10 cars down the road. These guys took off out the gas station like the place was on fire. |

Funny. but typical German. They actually had to tell on them to the Belgium Police so they can get their "toll" as well. The Italians got theirs the day before. Bloody Bastards! |

Yet another F-car story It looks like these guys were carrying out some sort of rally thru europe the ferrari blasting by hinted the polizei. They got caught around Aachen and were fined 167 Euro. They notified the police in Belgium their next checkpoint. Would some of the brit users here knew/know about it?? Martin348 can come up with a better summary of this http://www.spiegel.de/auto/aktuell/0,1518,217647,00.html Ciao |
