Mike, is that your GTS/GTB 'conversion'? I love the rear window treatment! My top is already painted, I think it would be great to get the rear louvers done as well. Somebody should start a business.... |

You could own several aluminum knobs from for the price of one Titanium knob! I love mine from www.TeamVoodoo.com. Looks and feels like the ones that come stock on 355's and non-F1 360's, slightly larger size than what came on 308s, 328s, 348s and TRs. The Miata ones they show at the website have necks, but the Ferrari ones (which aren't listed there yet) are regular neckless spheres, bored and threaded to match the Ferrari shift stalk. Bob Krueger, the owner of Voodoo, loves Ferraris too, though he doesn't (yet) own one. Great guy if you get a change to talk with him via phone or email. By the way, I know he just delivered a titanium Ferrari shift knob to someone, and a much lower cost than from TitaniumCavalino, if you're dead set on titanium.

Aluminum shift knobs for Ferraris are available from www.TeamVoodoo.com (new item, may not be listed yet, but I've got one, quality is fantastic -- and you'll like their website/company logo!) and www.StCorsa.com You can see mine installed at the bottom of the page at www.mlcpartners.com/ferrari/308GTSB

www.international-auto.com If you get the catalog, it has a several page spread with all sorts of ferrari, lamborghini, alfa, pininfarina logos and badges. 13 years ago, when I was dreaming of owning a ferrari (and 21), I bought a nose badge from them. Ironically my TR has a cracked/imperfect badge and I cant find the one I used to hold so dearly!!! |

I used a couple of gas turbine aero engine (Eurofighter) pipe clips. They are manufactured of Nimonic alloy and have a part neoprene sleeving. This means they already had a reinforced hole for the Cavalino stud to pass through (damn good job cos they'd be a sod to drill) and a protective coating on the reaction lug that 'grabs' around the rear of the appropriate 348 grille spar. |

Tiscali are great on quality and price. I ordered a pair of Sculpted Chrome Cavo's for my 348, they look superb (better than the satin black or the even more awful flat cavo's fitted as standard equipment). Interesting fabricating a bracket for the front one on a 348, such thats it looks original, is unseen from reasonably close up and is totally and easily removable without trace if one ever wanted to return the car to standard factory spec. |
