No guys, this video was available in 1990 from the Discovery Channel, so this was a bit before the DVD revolution (at least for me). It is called "Super Cars," and includes the Ferrari F40, Porsche 959, Corvette ZR1, Cizeta V16T, Mercedes SL, and Vector W2. The F40 piece is especially good.

I can try to video input it into my computer, but the file will just be TOO HUGE. I'd rather just mail a VHS copy. E-mail me your addresses and I'll take care of it...

Bret:

I was so upset by your comment on Duesenbergs that I nearly crashed into the buffet line at the old folk's home with my walker!

Whew! That took a lot out of me. I need to sit in my old brown leather recliner, enjoy a few sips of single malt scotch and relax.

lol, I figured that dusenberg one would get some comments. It's too old school for my likes, but it is definitely an amazing car. I remember when R&T did an article on one at the museum (down south somewhere I think), they let the writer take out this ridiculously expensive Dusenberg, in the pouring rain! Even if it is a little boxy, you gotta give them credit for still actually driving them like they were intended.

Deusenberg a nanny car??? Ha!!

Bret, I can see why you have that opinion, after all, the styling, size and weight of a Deusenberg probably make you think of Rolls and Pierce Arrow, but the Duesenberg was THE Supercar of it's generation. It was, in many ways, what Ferrari is today, the fastest, most expensive and most sought after car of its time.

The history channel is apparently running a marathon of ultimate autos today, pretty cool show. In the commercial they had a clip with a 550 going around a corner sideways, sounds good to me. They also had a nasty jeep rock climbing, although most of you guys probably aren't too interested in that. Then they had a bunch of those nanny cars like Rolls Royce, Dusenberg, etc.

Yes, I know that the history channel is meant only to be watched by a weathered veteran, sitting in a brown leather recliner, and drinking some scotch, BUT you have to admit it's a pretty classy channel anyways.
