Tim,

Try talking to Gary Drenik. He moves euro cars here for the cost of the car (I think it's 150k, although if you want a used one they go as low as 130, and 355's under 75), plus the 12k in shipping/conversion/etc. Wait time is supposed to be 8-12 weeks, as I understand it.

Thanks, guys. Just shot an email off to Martin. I know the incredible deals are out there...it's just a matter of finding them. One day, I suppose.

Chris.

Chris- Give Martin a call, he knows the 348. Its better to pay a little more for a car thats been offered by someone who knows what there doing. Believe me it will save you big $ and headaches over time.

If you add shipping and conversion to this price you end up paying more for the import that what you can get in the open market here.

308s way over
348s equal to US market

e-mail me to see what you are looking for. Maybe I have what you are looking for!

Was digging around for prices on 90~91 348s, and ran into this web page:

http://www.dennigcars.org/ferrari_for_sale.htm#348

Prices like that made me very excited....until I saw it was overseas and did not include conversion and shipping costs. :-( This is very unfortunate. If only these prices were valid over here. Thoughts on the large price discrepancies between overseas and US? Surely this differential is not due to simply that (?)

...still searching for that "once-in-a-lifetime"-great-priced, 40Kish mile, early model 348 or 94/95 NSX...

Thanks,
Chris.
