I have the Tubi on my 328. I left the cat, however. I think it is wrong to purposely remove a cat, especially on an older car that will pollute a whole lot more w/o a cat...not to mention illegal.

The car is plenty loud, sounds plenty good, and goes plenty well, as is with the Tubi & cat (see my comments on the Tubi sound in the 308 exhaust thread).

Rob,

I thought I read where you installed the same? I meant to add this -- not a performance factor but the trunk was really cool after a long run - great for those runs to the grocery store - you know - your wife says oh I forgot to go by the grocery store today, very quickly you reply- no problem (as you grab you keys in a rush) just like 15 with your learners permit.

You better believe it - the way the money flew from my pants pocket when paying for it - 0-60 in about 2.3sec. Oh you mean on the car - I wish!! It does appear to be easier to rev, but not anything else. It does sound faster:-) Does that count??

Oh Yea!!! Just got my 328 back w/ a test pipe and a TUBI -- Boy what a difference!! Good or Bad -- depends on what you are looking for. I had a buddy with me on Sat. dropped him off , he called to tell me he could here me blipping the throttle at a stop sign -- 3 BLOCKS AWAY!! then I got a clearing -- he he he -- I asked and asked on F-chat about the sound with a Tubi and never could get a straight answer -- sooooo my thoughts -- before you do it, remember, it will be LOUD! It kind of reminds me of the exhaust note you hear on one of those Hondas with the great big tail pipe (low and grumbly - really kicks in when you hit it, 4000 and up) - the only difference is you have the car to backup the noise! I know I'm going to hear #@$* about my comparison but just my two cents worth. Would I do it again -- took my wife out last night - would have been nice to have the car a little on the quiet side - took it out today (alone) and it just felt right!! Yea I'd have to do it again! Hope this helps to all that had the same questions that I did??
