I bought an OEM single dizzy cap from Gentry Lane a few months back on Ebay. I bid at the bottom dollar and no one else did so that's what I paid for it. Probably the only bargain he had, saved myself about $200. I asked them for a list of a few other partsI needed but they never got back to me. They can't be that desparate to offload their stock.

I usually do an advanced search and include words like 308, 328, interior, tubi, lesbian...whoops that's another search.

Guy's don't forget that a lot of sellers use E-bay as advertisement only. The repeats are sellers with multiple items or wanting contact for offers.

I hear you Ben....the saaaame parts at the saaaame price with nooooo sale. The listing fees must be adding up for this guy for sure. It's just like all the frickin' Hot Wheels crap you have to wade through when you do a Ferrari search. Ahhh let's see....I'll see your nickle and raise you a penny for that "MAGNUM PI" car! I like when the Hot Wheels guys try to trick you into looking at their ad by making it sound like a real F. Ya, like the $.50 price isn't a clue!

It is Gentry Lane in Toronto. They were the official dealer in Toronto until Maranello got the rights a few years ago. The owner believed that nobody should have to wait for parts to come from Italy. He had everything on the shelf. Sadly, he died a few years ago and the rights for the dealership changed hands. Now the new owners are trying to get rid of all the parts.

I've bought Lotus parts from EBay and most were pretty cheap. Some are very expensive for what they are, like my ashtray which is off an early 60's Ford Zepher sold for $50. I suppose for a vintage Ferrari ashtray that's cheap though.

Ahhh....John.
Seriously, that was I...a few years back.
But, the engine did sell eventually off EBay! (It was sold to an F40 owner.)

I am still in awe that someone put an F40 engine on Ebay that was still in the crate! How funny wuld that be if someone dropped that into and F40 replica!!!

Ben,

I believe you're referring to "Gentry Lane". They're the (or were?) the Ferrari dealer in Toronto. Talk about retail plus, eh?

I dont know who the guy is on ebay, but I know Im tired of seeing the same parts for 4 months in a row at the same price. Like a bare head for about 3000$, or a blower-motor for buy it now at 450$, and a 328 hood no one wants... Doesnt common sence tell someone after 4 months the price is too high?
