ken sorry I will fax the articles shortly. in no order 1) tires - most came with metric. New sets of metric will run you 1000. better to get car with two sets of rims (orginal and aftermarket) 2) oil leaks, water pumps, age of cooling hoses etc 3) when was last major done etc etc. 4) lighter interiors are better since these cars get very hot in the summer 5) for BBs any history on carb rebuilds 6) for BBs any emmissions testing 7) do the normal compression/leakdown etc 8) a/c work 9) many put value on having the pioneer radio with original equalizer on the left of driver 10) check the bonnet struts |
