Were they BB's or BBi's?

Red, black, silver & yellow are Ferraris most popular colors. They will paint your car any color you want for an extra $5,000 or so

Ive seen plenty of Boxers without black bottoms

Harlan,

I don't know for sure but I believe all 365BB's and perhaps all 512BB's had the black Boxer bottom. I'm guessing the solid colors started with the injected cars. I wouldn't be suprised though if Ferrari may had made a hand full of solid color 365 and 512BB's.

I'd like to hear what others have to say on this.

Don't know the full range, but body in a single color could be had from factory.

What colors where available for the 512BB and did they all come with the "boxer" look or could you get a factory solid color car?
