Got my acceptance for the Concorso in the mail today. WOW. I hope the weather holds in January as I plan on driving it from Indiana.

Now all I have to do is spend a jillion bucks getting the car ready!

You have not seen the S since you last tacked Moroso William.
Remember the pavement change when you came out of turn 6 (some call it 7) and went to the back , then had the light left sweap to go into the S right before the 180 last turn for the pits and front straight? Well, before the pavement change ther eis a new S, which is a 2nd gear S. When you takle this one good you can upshift to 4th before braking hard for the old S.

how new is the S on the back straight ? That blows, Moroso was never that fast to begin with. Pansies.

I don't think Moroso is that tough. Not nearly as tough as Homestead.
With the new S on the back straight the speed has been reduced. So full throttle only on the front straight, then heavy braking into turn 2 and 3.

Moroso is a little rough but 1 or 2 days on the track wont do much to your car. I will have the 512TR :-) You need to find a copy of Cavallino magazine. the editor John Barnes said they will take applications from subscribers first so you can do what I did last year, Sent in my 2 year sub & application simultaneously :-)

William, I really want to do this, and am qualified for Red.....but I hear that Moroso REALLY tears cars up (we flew to the Cavallino last year & did not bring any cars). Any truth to this? Thanks!

if you have a competition liscence or a diploma from a recognized racing school you can join in the red group & run with me & the 250 GT0s, 333 SPs, BBLMs, 512Ms etc. Not too many crazies in this group, just SPEED!!!

Guess I will be there as well.
Don't think I will be tracking the car, too many other crazy people out there, but will come to the track to watch William and all the others.
Concourse is a must! Also will have to do Mar A Largo this time. Wify wants to see Donalds play house!

Went last year for the first time, and really enjoyed it. Still haven't decided yet about this next one, though. Lots of things up in the air; I probably won't know for another month or so.
