Hey doody, I do the same thing in my TR. except the windows are down, the heater going. sometimes I stick my head out the window to hear the motor from the outside. at night, the interior lit by the red lights, the bellow of the flat 12, the stars...kind of warms your heart. am I sick or what? Ben, check out the sixes from the BMW M cars. They sound great and have lots of power. The new M3 has 330hp from it's six cylinder engine and can be pushed up to over 400hp with some Dinan aftermarket products. |

Sixs can be very aurally and dynamically involving (but it generally takes an Italian maker to bring it out, eg. Dino Still haven't found a production automobile to equal the F355's V8 however. If I never do, I can sitll die happy Best! Ben. |

Next time you get to NY let me know and I'll be happy to get you out in the Dino. Definitely more fun and involving than the 360 (except on a track). |

i have not experienced that sound, wspeer! i will definitely get it on my to do list! if i ever get my butt to houston you'll be on my list of people to bother :-) mojo - yup, as long as the weather forecast is free of rain, the f-car comes out. gotta enjoy it for a bit more before winter storage time comes :-(. the forecast for the rest of the week looks like it's not going to cooprate much, unfortunately. of course forecasting weather in boston is a lot like tracking alligators in anchorage, so we'll see what happens! doody. |

William, I agree, the 246 is so fun to drive, it feels like you are going so fast at low speeds. |

the dino is a six and if you have never experienced the sound of a six at the redline, you have not experienced life. i prefer my dino over my testarossa any day of the week. although the six is not as poweful, it has more of the ferrari spirit than the testarossa |

had a blast of a drive home tonight. top down. 50 degrees or so. sky full of stars. heater going. and eight cylinders bangin' away like g-d intended engines to work :-). i love my p-car, but those six cylinder engines just can't beat that idle growl and winddown of an eight. yum! just thought i'd share :-) doody! |
