Dave, if you need to shoot close to Little Rock, come to our next event in Dallas. Last weekend we managed to get 11 Ferraris out. Or maybe ECW will do another Ferrari event.

Mr. D. Jones: Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. You have to at least talk to Rob.

There are some mega $ collections out there, but you have to see what an average (but really unique!!) enthusiast can do.

The best part is that Rob is a really great guy.

Nick and all,

What a coincidence that you posted Nick, as the reason I posted the picture was I was so excited about the new addition to my small collection, the 3 foot tall Ferrari horse!

Nick lives in the same city as I and we just met recently when I bought some Ferrari badges from him on ebay. He was making som giant horses from a mold from Italy so I got one from him. It is very nice and a must for any "serious" Ferrari display" :-) I think Nick has them posted under the spare parts section here on Ferrarichat! What a great present for the holidays!!!!

Anyway I will post some more pictures soon!

You showed a photos of the least Ferrari adorned wall in your whole house/garage. Post some more photos of your garage AND house, show
everybody how passionate you REALLY are!

Dave,

I have been collecting memorabilia since I was eleven. I may not be the richest Ferrari guy but I am certainly the most passionate! If you are interested I would be honored to contribute!

Thanks for all the emails...
I will contact everyone who sent them to me.
At this point I will be building my list which will cover North America and Europe for shooting locations.
My next step is to find folks near my location in Little Rock, which I can drive to with my production gear... maybe Dallas, Houston, Memphis, so I can build a treatment, or Demo if you will, to show to potential investors so I can raise the capital to travel to all of your locations while filming the documentary...
Without investors the full production cost will come out of my pocket, and you know what that means, no sex for the married.

David, I'd love to help! I was born a Ferrari nut to a father who had a Lusso when he lived in Italy, I've been to the factory for my 18th birthday, met Piero Lardi, had my birthday lunch at Cavallino Ristorante (I even saved some toothpicks with the little Cavallino on them!!), I have a signed Enzo letter from 1949 to Jerry Englebert about developing tires with Luigi Chinetti for the 49-50 race season, I have one of the most extensive literature collections around, hundreds of Ferrari magazines, models, posters, knock offs, emblems, wall art, collages, owners manuals, several hundred photographs of Ferraris, you name it...I have a Ferrari pillow and clothing, not to mention the Fila Ferrari Vintage shoes that match the interior of my 308. I have an entire room just like Nika filled to the rim with prancing horses and stuff. I've got about 50 videos of Ferrari and I had 2 parakeets named Enzo and Dino. My first child's middle name will be Enzo or Dino! To be honest, I think I am obsessed with the prancing horse!

If I can help in any way, please let me know.

Mitch

I was recently told about a guy in California who has two of every ferrari he owns. One is kept brand new or concours and the other he drives. Anyone know who this is? I know someone at Wilson Audio (owned by Dave Wilson who just picked up a 550 Maranello) who says this guy has everything ferrari and Wilson...even speakers with the ferrari shield on them. As some of you might know...Dave Wilson offers all of his speakers finished in the various ferrari colors.

Dave, you need to talk to Nika. Where else will you find a woman with entire rooms dedicated to the marque?

I've been involved with dealers, restorations shops, selling cars, parts, and showing and track events with them. I've got some good stories and perhaps an insiders perspective. I'll be happy to talk to you about it.
