If true, thats just f****@d that series then. There will be naff all left to watch in a couple of seasons time Bernie has wrung the lifeblood out of it! |

Lots of rumors going around on this one, eh? I'm not convinced that it's a good idea to "save" CART by making it a glorified Formula Atlantic-style feeder series. I can't see droves of American fans rushing to the race track to see a feeder series for F1, especially since F1 is not popular in the US.
If it's true, Tony George will not like having his 'friend' Bernie as a competitor. Of course, Bernie has never shied away from upsetting people he is 'partners' with. Witness the harsh words being flung his way by the people in Moscow who thought they had a deal for an F1 race. If Bernie pissed off the Russian Mob he has far greater things to worry about than Tony George!! |

This has been floating around, even an artical in Chicago Trib about it. Maybe instead of retired F1 drivers in Cart we will see the to be stars of F1 |

Has anyone heard the rumour that Bernie bought CART and will use it for a feeder series? Maybe we'll get to see Ferrari in CART?
