I saw only two of those when I was in London recently. But there used to be one in Ottawa, Ontario, that was owned by a diplomat and would travel back-and-forth from Ottawa to Montreal. Saw it in Montreal on several occasions while I was visiting local exotic car dealers to ogle the cool cars. Isn't it nice to have diplomatic immunity! |

Not my most favorite car but back when I was 18 my dream car and actually my car for 1 1/2 years about 2 years later, was a BMW Z-1. These were never delivered to the US. The doors actually slide into the body. It is such a cool car but had lots of probelms as well. Only 4000 made ever. Was thinking about importing one from Europe now and put it on German plates but drive it for a year in the States and maybe then make a conversion. The picture is bad. One of those rainy days. But gives you an idea.

Well Martin, your approach to solving the problem is a wise one. What bothers me is that I do not see any reason for them not correcting what was obviously their mistake. Oh well there's no sense in beating a "dead horse". Pun intended? You decide. Talk to you later. |

Warren, Met with area rep FNA--will have an answer this week but I doubt they will do anything. Waiting for answer from Fritz (Amerispec) who supposedly is pressuring euro dealer who sold car to me. If ng have a great body guy who will extend the fiberglass hood and repaint the buckets.Cost 1k to 1.5 k-rather than 6k for 2 new assemblies plus labor.I just want to get it done rather than start with lawyer letters etc Thanks for asking. |

My first car. A 1970 Fiat 124 Spyder. It was yellow/black/black with the 1600 engine. It had a real wood dash and a great exhaust note. None of the tires matched, but it looked sharp. It required the same fiddling as a Ferrari, but I only paid $800 to buy the entire car! I had as much fun with it then as I do now with my Mondial, but I got to drive the Fiat every day. |

Ohh its got to be my first car, my 67 MGB GT. What a cool car. It had chrome spoke wheels and black vinyl interior, competition heads, headers, Weber carb, Ansa exhaust and it had a large sway bar, but no overdrive!! What a great car and I miss it dearly. I sold it 3 years ago to a collector in St George Utah, where it resides in a museum and is used often as I'm told. My second fave goes to my 86 Maserati Quattroporte. Wonderful cars! |

Sounds crazy, but when I was in my 20's in college I had a 56 STUDE. Golden Hawk black with white interior and a Packard engine. It loved to munch on Ford Interceptors. |

Martin, how clever a license plate and on a Aston Martin no less. Are you making any headway on that hood Ferrari owes you. You have to have a friend who is a attorney. One who can write letters and not run up a tab. What do you have to loose. All kidding aside, what are you going to do? |

Most fun car was my Sunbeam Tiger, which I wish I still had. Second is the '65 K code HIPO Mustang Convertible. Still have this car and currently undergoing restoration. My favourite "boy racer" car was an Austin Healey Sprite fitted with a 13B rotary & 5 speed from an RX7. |
