Haven't had any experience with Black Chrome, but have used Mother's Back to Black for years -- and still use it regularly for many black surfaces. However, for the targa top and spoiler on the 308 QV, I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer exclusively with excellent results (Meguiars Gold Class). Just recently purchased some new stuff called "303 Protectant" to use on the Porsche. They advertise as the world's best protectant, maximum sun protection, and non-silicone-based. It's intended for cleaning, renewing, and protecting rubber, vinyl, and plastic. It's available through places like www.performanceproducts.com or www.tweeks.com -- I'll let you know how it works. |

Thanks Dave. I tried Armor All which made it look good but did not last. I will clean off the AA and then try Black Chrome. |

Fiberglass, with embossing. Use Turtle Wax "black Chrome" or one of the competitors similar products. Works great on the black anodized engine grill too. Reapply after every third or so car wash and these parts will stay looking good! |

Need some advice: What is the Targa top made of. Looks like it is vinyly but I suspect that the vinyl look is embossed on it. What is the best way to keep it looking new? |
