Dan,

If you are in search of 355 wheels, you can purchase a reconditioned set for $2500. Go to http://ferraripartsexchange.com

Good luck.

Thanks Guys, this has given me more options that I was not aware of.

John, I do like your updated wheels, however, I thought the 355 wheels were 1200.00 per wheel. So that is why I never really considered them. More info on the 355 wheels would be great. By the way what kind of seats are in your 348?

I don't see how you guys are getting such high prices. When I was looking for 360 rims there were a set of used ones snagged at WWoC for $1600 for all four (owner replaced with kinesis and had dealer sell them for him). And WWoC had a set of new ones laying around that they were willing to sell for like $2300 for the four, brand new in the box. I think they want like $4000-5000 at list, but you can get them to order them from Ferrari Spa for less than that. I don't work for WWoC so it wasn't like I was getting a discount, I have ordered parts through them of course though before. I think when I do swap rims I'm gonna look for a set of 550s, I used to want to go with the 360s but I think the 550s might work a bit better. This is down the road though.

Yep I claim to be the guilt one with the 355 wheels on the 348. Jim I know what you mean with the older vettes 84-90 going with the new C5 sytle rims and that being pretty ugly but to me the 355 wheels are essentially the same wheels as the 512TR rode on that was a contemporary with the 348. Thus I dont consider that I put newer wheels onto my "older" car.

Anyway you can actually find a set of 355 wheels pretty reasonable if you shop around or dont mind ones that have been repainted. If you go through Ferrari like I did the first time you will drop $600 a rim for the front and $1100 a rim for the rears.

I can get you more information on mine and where they came from later in the day I am really busy at work right now but just wanted to respond. Check out my cars pic on my profile and I can send you more if you are interested.

I don't mind aftermarket wheels on a car, but I don't like newer fcar wheels on an older car. I have seen corvettes do this and it just looks cheesy to me.

Kind of like painting the airdam and rockers on a testarossa to immitate a 512tr. Now if you paint the airdam and rockers on a 348 that is okay to me as they actually produced a factory car like that.

Just my opinion though :-)

What do you guys think of the 355 rims on the 348. Another 348 owner has them on his car on the board, and they look great! I can't remember if it is Stech or Frank ? Your thoughts.... ?

The previous owner installed Compomotive wheels on my car (TS Modular style in my case). Compomotives are very high quality wheels and several styles are available.

There are Speedline wheels that resemble the 355 wheel that fit. Check their website for more info.

Does anyone know of other wheels that fit a 1990 348ts besides HRE. I like the HRE 540 style, however, I am looking for something more reasonably priced. I like the mesh look with the polished lip. Any advice on who sells the wheels would help.

Also how big can I go? 19 inch? What size tire would I need to keep the speedometer the same?

Thanks in advance!
