I am an official ferrari freak. Today some of the guys met on Prytania Street and lined up the cars while they ate. I just stood next to an F40 and the black F50 for about an hour.
The F40 and the F50 were the last two cars to leave, so I had positioned my car in such a way that I could follow the cars once they got moving. Well, I ended up following the black F50 on the interstate for about 25 miles when I suddenly realized that I was almost out of gas. It was sure fun to roll the windows down and listen to that magnificent V12 growling in front of me. What a blast. I hope the owner didnt think I was stalking him. Lol

Also got to hear the breadvan fire up. The unrestricted exhaust made the tone simply incredible. I thought that going to see this event would quench my Ferrari thirst for a good bit, but alas, the thirst only gets stronger.

Kelly, nice to see you again, your car looked great!

Just to let you know what kind of weekend you can expect. I went to the track day, and the Concourso.

I went to bed at 9 last night and woke up at 3 this afternoon.

My Ferrari cup runneth over.

I hope to have my pictures tomorrow.

One surprise. For the first time I was a judge. We Judged the 360's. I had requested $5,000 in a brown paper bag put in a local dumpster. I got none. Maybe the bribes are gone here in Louisianna. NOT!!! HAHA

I took some other pics with a disposable camera after my friend's digital camera used up all of the battery. The F40 LM was obnoxiously loud when it left the event. The rear diffusers were only about an inch and a half off the ground. Can't believe that he drove it on these streets.
I forgot to mention that there was also a 360 challenge car at the event.
Tomorrow at 11:00 am they will all drive from the Windosor Court to the Uptown Garden District. I know there were a couple other f-chatters there, so hopefully they took some great pics of the trackday that was held yesterday. Roland Linder also was saying that he spent 8 hours behind the wheel of the F40 LM yesterday. Thats right, 8 HOURS!!!

Just got back from the 3rd annual French Quarter Concourso and it was a blast!!! Could not have asked for better weather. Met some nice people and saw some extremely impressive cars. These included: 250 GT California SWB, 288 GTO, F40, F40LM, F50, 355's, 360's, 348's, 328's, 308's, 1962 330 TRI/LM (won Le Mans), Breadvan, 365's and TRs.
Overall very impressive. Roland Linder, who has the F40 LM was telling me how it pulls 2.2 G's under breaking!!!

I'll try to post a few pics
