Don't mean to spoil the 8 cylinder mid -engine party but before you do anything try the Testarossa also. Roomy as the 360 and when you hit the accelerator -- hold on. The sound and the push of the flat 12 is like hell unleashed -- Hey don't take my word for it --- try it for yourself. The only real drawback is gobs and gobs of attention when you are out on the road. If you can take that the car is just heavenly. My .02 cents. |

I'm 6'4", 260 lbs. and have driven the following Ferraris (owned, borrowed or rented)for a fair amount of time: 246 Dino-amazing amount of room. Much better than anything but the current 360. I drive this one a lot. 308/328- just fit. Could spend 1/2 hour without pain. 308 GT4 -comfortable. Mondial-very tight. Wheelwell pushes left leg in very far. too narrow for size 13's to do any heel & toe shifting. 348-quite comfortable, roomier than the 308/328, especially with top down. 360-a lot of room, very comfortable (coupe). 456, 550-impossible for anyone over 6' 190 lbs. Couldn't move at all. Let's face it Ken, the 911 is much more comfortable than all of the above. I retreat to my 911 whenever I need working air conditioning, soft supportive seats, instant ignition, and no noise. |

Unfortunately I have been out of the Ferrari world for over a year after having to sell my much loved Mondial QV. The Italian blood is flowing again and I have begun the search for a 1978 or 1979 308 GT4. I am about 6' tall and am wondering if I can sit in a "normal" position in a GT4? Also, would it make a good daily driver or are the carbs too tempermental? Any advice on GT4's would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Ken I think you have the passion, and yes the newer cars fit better. Tom Selleck was 6'4" and like 220 and he fit in the 308, even with the top up. |

I'm 6'3" 280, Top on, seat way back, makes me fell like I'm at INDY. Top off, My head sticks out a little. But, Even if I needed a winch to get me in I'd do it. The questions is, DO you REALY HAVE THE PASSION???? 1980 308 GTSI |

I have a 79 308 GTS. I am 5/11 172 lbs.. No problem here. My son is 6/3 215 lbs.. Seat all the way back, steering wheel tilted up a little, with top on his hair brushes the headliner. I think you would fit. |

Sorry for the strange topic, but didn't know quite how to sum it up. I'm 6'4", 230 lbs, and am wondering if I could comfortably fit into a 308 GTB/S. I used to own a 75 308 GT4, and it fit me fine - after reclining the seat a good bit. Now, I'm back in the market for a Ferrari after selling my 911, and would love to buy a carb'd 308 GTB/S. What do you guys think? Can I make it work? Go back to the GT4 (which was a great car, but not really enamored with the styling)? 348 fit better? Thanks. |
