Sweet Martin. We can traffic drugs through the Ferrari Nation from South America to fund out Ferrari habit.

Lets buy out Castro. He is on his last breath anyway. We can build race tracks. A nation where the only car allowed on the street is a Ferrari! We call it Ferrari Nation.

I actually own the name www.FerrariNation.com since a while.

Forgive me for not remembering touring cars and these other good closed wheel forms of racing for Ferrarivision. These would also be great filler when we weren't showing the F12001!

Alan Decadenet should be offered a permanent position on our channel for his great work on Victory by Design. Rob you are right! That is THE Ferrari video.

We could get sponsorship from Ralph Lauren since he truly understands what a "classic car" is.

I'm all for Ferrari vision and taking over a small country. We could take over a Caribbean nation and pave some sweet roads. Of course there would be Ferrarivision at our island. We could do something like that movie The Beach, only with Ferraris and not pot.

Maybe Rob can incorporate into this site streaming video so we have the best of chat and TV! (I was curious about something like that Rob. We're able to upload pictures, but could we upload sound-bites and short videos now with this new server? Once I get my car back on the road, I'll take samples of both so that all of you can enjoy the sounds of an uncatalysed, carburated, Borla exhaust Ferrari! What about it Rob?)

At least Fox is bring back "The Family Guy" cartoon show. Pissed myself laughing when this show used to be on.

F1 is the highlight of Speedvision, but they have complete endurance race coverage, Speedvision GT and Touring, ALMS, Grand Am, International Touring Car, Pro SRF, Pro FM, US F2000, and Trans Am. Plus all the Legends of Motorsports stuff and then the best Ferrari show ever made... "Ferrari: Victory by Design".

I wonder if they are going to rename it Hillbillyvision. This sucks.

Speedvision is the only channel I really watch.

An all Formula 1 channel would suit my needs. We could make it similar to Speedvision but with absoloutely NO Nascar talk. Ferrarivision sounds good! We could use World Superbike, Profession Sports Car, and any other OPEN WHEEL racing footage for filler. PSC being the only closed wheel footage allowed.

I guess Speedvision is a lost cause! Looks like it is a done deal.

Thanks Mr. Murdock!

How about we creat a new channel: FerrariVision

I have not been this ticked off about a TV channel in my whole life. I feel so helpless and naked now. What the hell am I going to watch on TV now? I only watch Speedvision, the Simpsons and CNN. DAMNIT this infuriates me.

I say we start our own TV network. Screw Fox. Who wants to help me?? I have some great ideas!

BretM,
that is crime fighting at the pure level! Love it. Have you considered running for office? LOL! Death penalty is too harmless..16hours NASCAR is cruel and unusual punishment. You have my vote!

Very true about an all NASCAR channel Martin, but just think, but if they made it mandatory that prison inmates watched it for say 16 hours a day, crime would go down significantly because of the horrors of going to prison. Forget getting butt raped and beaten up, just watching that much Nascar would keep me out. Some people might like it though.

BretM,
I have driven track in Sebring with my car and was a day later in Orlando for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. 8 rounds on a Mile Oval track with a full blown NASCAR. The instruction is: "get to 2000RPM let the clutch come, shift in 2 then 3 and on the pit-out into 4, then never touch the clutch again. Try not to brake just on and off the gas...." They let you go 125Mph the max and I went with the guy 125 from the 2nd lap on to the last! Big deal!

The Sebring Instruction by Skip Barber Racing School was 2 hours long, another hours driving in a van on the track and after all this there was not one lap where I did not make several mistakes on that damn track.

Sure I let them drive Ovals. Everybody would do it????...everybody is doing it. Everybody that can remotely pay for the car and the crew will have his own NASCAR team and car. It is a zoo out there.

I am not saying that they should ban NASCAR, even the smallest mind needs stimulation, but making a channel of nothing but NASCAR?

The advertisers will be companies that will sell products to cover 2 foot by 2 foot rust holes in your Chevy Pick-Up trucks, a new cookbook how to grill roadkill you just picked off the highway and a message from your local power company not to through shoes over powerlines and a new dating service...datnyourcusins.com! Yeeehaaaaaa !

I could careless what happens on Monday night football or if Jeff Gordon won, but I sure the hell want to know what Schumi, Bostrom, or Weaver are doing on track. I hope that we aren't deprived of this in the future.

If they want to race on ovals, let them race on ovals. If anything by talking trash like that about them we are being below their level. It's isn't easy racing an oval, if it was everyone would do it. I like Formula One more, but that doesn't mean that other people can't like NASCAR or Indy. For the open wheel comment, the 333 Sp is a closed wheel car and it is very much a real race car, as well as the 550 Millenio.

Who is watching "redneck racing" anyway?

Had the pleasure of driving one of those cars on the track....ppppfffffttttthhhh, what a piece of s*~t. Needs a max IQ of 15, compatible to a bar of soap to drive these cars.

Truely intelligent to drive in an oval....at least nobody can get lost!

We cannot let this happen. Who and why the heck would they do this? This is inexcusable. I think they should have a dedicated, similar channel AS WELL as SV. GOD don't let em take my Speedvision away.

Speedvision is a bunch of bastards. Ever since they broke up with Fox I don't get the races anymore.
Don't worry guys, if you read in Forza (August issue) they have a big article about this. There will always remain to be free broadcasting of Formula One to any major market for Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes, Fiat, etc even if it's not by Speedvision.

Please leave Speedvision as it is. You will find that as popular as Nascar is, there is a huge following of other types of racing. Add Nascar if you will, but do not eliminate the other types of racing. One other word, never, never, never, never, I repeat, never show a crowd shot on the last lap of a race. Edward Gault

As you may or may not know, FOX has purchased Speedvision and intends to turn it into an all NASCAR channel. If you don't think this idea (I don't) then you may want to sign the petition below.

http://www.petitiononline.com/svsn/petition.html

I'm # 25270, and if you could please, add your # if and when you sign it. Thanks!
