Had a great time, the 512TR ran strong. Saw 145 down the front straight, 125 coming out of the banking & 150 on the back straight on road tires. I asked the Beril Roos instructors about going faster & they told me to not push it any harder. I'm going back to Pocono on July 20 with slicks & look for 170 on the back straight  I gobbled up sevreal Panteras & Diablos & had a blast. 1 lap I was almost out of the banking doing accelerating through 110 when 2 308GT4s saw me in their mirrors & started waving madly for me to pass them, Thanks guys There were tons of awesome cars, a Diablo GT, DIablo SVR race car, Lambo test driver Valentino Balboni signed my program ( very nice guy), 2 333SPs, 1 F40 LM, 51 F1 car, 2 BBLMs, 1 512M, 6 TRs, 12 Countaches, & 20 Panteras from mild to wild. During 1 session on the track the checker had just fallen, I looked in my mirror & saw Benny's 333SP & Nicks 1970s Alfa flat 12 prototype racer. Thats when u know u r about to get past Hard!! The concours was ok.My friend Dave who was a Judge said I won the most cups in the interior award. I told him I wanted a red cupholder with a Horsey on it u guys got to go next year |
