I know of three cars available, all here in Germany, starting at $245,000. I believe one of them has LM turbos and ECU.

for what it is worth, the "bob" guy in texas has an office/home about 5 miles from me. i don't know of any "real cars" that he has. i believe he is a broker that works with a european importer. most of the cars he advertises are european, at least based on the website he used to have. i have misplaced the address. he advertises every month so he must be making money. has anyone ever dealt with him?

the f40 mentioned by "A.Tonokaboni (Senna1994)" is listed in the ferrari market letter and it sounds like it has been 'used but not abused'. something like 12 or 14k miles and an asking price around 270k if i recall correctly. that would be first on my list to check out - and you should too.

I've been drooling over a beautiful speciman for the last few months.... located at Lake Forest Sportscars (www.LFSC.com), which is about 30 minutes north of downtown Chicago. The miles are low and the car is perfect. I think price is mid $300's.

Don't you just love that 'PAINT' being an optional extra on the F40.

Saw one at Talacrest 5 months ago when I bought my 348, they reckoned the finish can be so crap on the F40 bonnet that it had cost them 5K in the past just to get that part painted to satisfactory finish on an earlier one they had!

The last F40 ever made that was displayed at the Ferrari Museum of Modern Art in New York belongs to a friend of my good friend in South Orange County. He is trying to sell it right now. If you have any questions please E-Mail me.

Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo had one in Portland, OR. Don't think it is a garage queen. Ask for Greg Theiss. (503-255-7560)

I am helping a friend find an F40 (the same guy that has the Boxer). He does not want a garage queen as he is after a track car. Anyone know of such a car for sale? What can someone expect to pay for an F40 that has been used but not abused. Please contact me as my friend is very serious and ready to buy NOW.
