Paul, I would imagine it is a tag put on the clock at the factory prior to delivery. It gives you instructions for the clock. |

Ben, tell your friend to contact me. I have a 79 308 GTS in silver over red with 8,900 miles. Yes you read right, its a total time warp car! The floormats have never had feet on them! Spare never down, all books, records, service manual, ever the original tires, keys (including the wierd key for the pockets on the doors), key fob, car cover, clock tag. Please email me or call me so I can send some pics, because I cannot post pics here for some reason. The car runs great and looks like a damn museum piece. The car has never been titles or tagged. Your pal would be the first person to have his name on the title. Lemme know, He would like to see about $31k....but he wants to sell as he is building a house. Car is in Atlanta. I have a pal who has decided to add a prancing horse to the stable, and I have been asked to assist in the search for the right car. The wish list: 308 gts or gtsi (carbd or injected, but NO GTB!) odd color combo is not an issue! Prefers white (ext) over red (int) but anything will work (red ext is LEAST preferred) Concourse cars are NOT wanted, this will be a daily driver, paint and/or interior need not be in the greatest shape. Wouldnt mind in the least bit high miles OR car needing TLC, even one with some kind of damage, so long as its complete and rebuild- able also preferably drivable. Would love to see a car in California, but its not a requirement. Main issue is PRICE would like to spend $20k I might be able to up that to $25k, but of course the lower the better. Please pass this request (in its entirety) onto anyone who you think may be able to help locate this car, it will be going to a very good home. Please send the info to me (without pics at first), just send me a brief car description/info and Ill ask for pics if it sounds good. Ill take info until the end of 2002, please dont send me a note a year from now asking if a car has been found yet. Many thanks, -Ben [email protected] 11-5-02
