I know of two Dyno Jets, one in Clearwater at Race Related off of Ulmerton in Largo and Secret Services also in Largo.

Hope you reach your power goals soon.

TASO:

MoTEC is absolutely the way to go. And, these are the guys to do the setup for you (if you're in the States).

For those of older vintage, Tim is saying he "likes" it... I think.

Say what you want about the pipes, but for 800hp I'd be willing to slap a lot more than them on my car.

I don't necessarily agree with the exhaust tips, but what ever happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything".

If you like them, GREAT. Who cares what others think, it's your car.

The pipes are what came with the car. When I redo the exhaust, they will be smaller and not stick out as much.
The 1000 hp, I am not aware of any "reliable" motors that produce 1000 hp. If I can get 800 reliable hp, and have the engine last 7,000-9,000 miles without a major rebuild, I would be happy with that. That is about 6-8 years worth of motoring.

Thanks,
Taso

I don't agree, those two fat pipes look rediculous, tacky and VERY boy racer ricer, spoiling the car completely from the rear...JMPO

1000hp...was that reliable or the unreliable sort?

Talk to Bob Norwood in Dallas, he is the Motec Ferrari factory guy. He'll have that thing making 1000 HP in no time. Reach him at (972)

I took the Koenig to a Dyno last night. Wasn't a Dynojet (I'll find out which brand). Measures actual rear wheel hp, and doesn't add correction factors,,,temp., alt., etc. I've used Dynojet before, they say they compensate 10% too much.
First, the bad news. Boost controller not working. Boost will only go to 5.5 pounds. Car made only 380 hp at the rear. Wasn't too happy with that.
Second, the good news. With the Porsches I had, for every pound of boost, would make 17 rear hp. The Ferrari should be good for 20 hp for every pound. Which means at 15 pounds (1 bar), should be good for 580 to 600 at the rear. That's what aiming for anyway.
Was disappointed with headers, they were factory not equal length custom headers. Turbos were bolted after collector. Losing hp there.
Will be doing engine management in a couple of months. Probably Motec. Losing hp down low, car was running rich. Will keep everybody tuned.
If anybody knows about Motec, or has any exp. with the Koenig twin turbo TR engine please email or post. Your help would be much app.

Thanks,
Taso
