Hell no, it was a joy ride. Of course I acted like I was very rich and lied about my age and many other things he asked me That's what I always do when I test drive exotics.

Something he said on rx7club.com on that topic, just gotta scroll down a bit to read it

Yes I was WWOC's first service customer (They rebuilt the trans in my 275GTB) They service all of my cars. That is where the Master's School is.
They are restoring my P4 (see P4 Photos)

Mike, the last time I looked, a fellow named Bob had about 4 of them for sale in Texas in last months Hemmings Motor News. You might want to check there, as I remember seeing one of his for sale for under $500k. I can dig up his numbers if you want?

Well I hope it could possible be open for discussion when I get there. The F50 is my favorite, and while I have sat in one, I have not ridden in one. Therefore I am your first and hopefully high bidder in this auction. Thank you for the opportunity.

the only issue with other people driving is insurance. while my insurnace will cover it they are basically in line to pay before 'your' insurance. so lets say you crash and kill some dude. they sue and win $5m. lets say we both have $4m liability coverage. my insurance co pays $4m and yours pays $1m. my insurance rates go up a ton and yours don't. it's funny because i just the other day had this same discussion with me borrowing their car for a day. ho hum!

while i would like to say a few other things, i wouldnt want to muck up the ... uh, auction. btw, did ebay get rid of all their charity stuff? i couldnt find anyw ay to make the thing go to charity instead?

I am heading up to Seattle on the 23rd so this could work. How much to let me drive just a short distance of that hour long ride?

price is all relative. i think the prices should be going up, especially since as you're pointing out -- they're not so easy to find these days. ultimately though it's not really for sale unless you want to make an offer i couldn't refuse.... ;)

have you asked ferrari of los gatos or 'frisco to hook you up?

$750k sounds a little high though. Plus, you're in Washington? We're looking at around $650k...

i will sell you mine for $750K + 1 cheeseburger! 3800 miles. (exotics4less claims to know of two, but ? There are none registered at ferrarina.com and the ferrari market letter (lets see what this does to the asking price index!) doesn't have any. actually, with the exception of one auctioned off (black one around houston, high mileage) I haven't seen one for a long, long time. You might be able to get a euro from carclassic.com. Anyway, I think they're all being hoarded for the people (like me!) who aren't special enough to get an enzo. ho hum.
